The APGA Foundation recognizes academic achievement, leadership, and a commitment to the future. Two named scholarships support student-athletes competing on HBCU golf teams and interested in careers in business.

WOMEN ON HBCU GOLF TEAMS

Allison Keller Scholarship

2 recipients / $5,000 each

Honoring Allison Keller's 26 years with the PGA TOUR, where she served as Chief Administrative Officer. Recognized as one of Sports Business Journal's "Game Changers," her career continues to inspire the next generation of leaders on and off the course.

WOMEN ON HBCU GOLF TEAMS

Chuck Robbins Scholarship

2 recipients / $5,000 each

Honoring the leadership and vision of Chuck Robbins and his commitment to innovation, leadership, and creating opportunities for future generations. This scholarship supports student-athletes who demonstrate academic achievement, leadership, and an interest in business.

Use your award toward tuition, books, fees, or other educational expenses.

WHO CAN APPLY?

ELIGIBILITY

Applicants must meet the requirements below and the student-athlete criteria for their selected scholarship.

+ Be a member of the golf team at an accredited Historically Black College or University (HBCU).

+ Identify as a student from an underrepresented background.

+ Demonstrate a connection to golf through competitive play, coaching, volunteering, or the golf industry.

+ Have an interest in a career in business, sports management, marketing, finance, communications, or another business-related field.

+ Submit a completed application and all required materials by the application deadline.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

+ Completed, signed scholarship application
+ Résumé
+ Unofficial academic transcript
+ One letter of recommendation
+ Personal essay (500-750 words)

YOUR CHECKLIST

In your 500-750 word essay, address:

+ Introduce yourself and explain how golf has influenced your life.

+ Describe your educational and career goals, and how this scholarship would help you reach them.

+ Share how you hope to make a positive impact in your community.

+ Explain how Allison Keller's life and career or Chuck Robbins' life and career inspired you, based on the scholarship you are applying for.
