Jaime Lopez Rivarola captures his second APGA Tour victory at APGA at TPC San Antonio
The Advocates Professional Golf Association (APGA) Tour had its second international winner in the first three events of the 2025 season Wednesday, as Argentine Jaime Lopez Rivarola, a University of Georgia golf product, carded a 4-under-par 68 to win the APGA at TPC San Antonio by two strokes.

As young players thrive on APGA, the tour looks to inspire the next generation
The conversation stuck with APGA Tour co-founder and CEO Ken Bentley. PGA Tour player Billy Horschel has been an avid supporter of the pro circuit for minority golfers, and Bentley was trading ideas last year with the golfer’s mental coach, Dr. Bhrett McCabe. Among the topics was the notion that the APGA should focus more on its growing appeal to young golfers rather than a headlong mission to see its players reach the upper echelons of pro golf.

Field set for 2025 APGA Tour Farmers Insurance Invitational at Torrey Pines
This 36-hole event will kick off the APGA Tour’s 2025 season, with a field of the Tour’s top players competing on the Torrey Pines North Course on Saturday, Jan. 25, and the South Course on Sunday, Jan. 26. The event will take place in conjunction with the PGA TOUR’s Farmers Insurance Open, with Sunday’s final round broadcast live on Golf Channel for the fourth consecutive year from 1:30-4 p.m. PT.
